At Hein Educational Consulting & Coaching, I work with educators and school leaders who care deeply about instructional quality — and who want that excellence to be sustainable.

After more than 20 years in education, I’ve seen firsthand that meaningful improvement doesn’t come from isolated workshops or quick fixes. It comes from clarity of purpose, thoughtful design, and systems that respect teachers’ time, expertise, and well-being.

I bring experience as a Spanish teacher, instructional coach, program coordinator, and district-level leader. Across these roles, I’ve supported schools and educators in building programs that are coherent, aligned, and built to last.

My work has included:

Leading district-wide curriculum adoptions and pacing design to strengthen alignment and student outcomes
Designing and facilitating professional learning focused on academic discourse, proficiency-based instruction, and culturally responsive practice
Coaching and mentoring educators to translate instructional goals into consistent, effective classroom routines
Conducting program reviews and audits that connect curriculum, assessment, and instruction to a shared vision for success
